Hello, I'm Terran! I'm a 23-year-old broadcast journalist and recent graduate from the William Allen White School of Journalism at the University of Kansas. In my spare time I love to play guitar, write songs & sing, enjoy anything outdoors and most of all, to volunteer. One of the most important journalistic goals I hold is to advance advocacy awareness and activism in society thru consistent community centered coverage. My nonprofit experience comes from working with many local organizations, such as: Ga-Du-Gi Safe Center, The Willow Domestic Violence Center, Kansas Head Start Association and Lawrence Humane Society, just to name a few. I hope to continue my work with nonprofit organizations as I start my professional career in broadcasting, and to add further advocacy representation within broadcast journalism along the way.
