Philanthropy Journal Names New Managing Editor

  • Jill Warren Lucas was appointed Managing Editor for the Philanthropy Journal. Effective Oct. 29, Lucas will oversee the current goals of the program, including a “to more effectively build the capacity of nonprofits and to foster a higher level of engagement between partners and stakeholders, both within the online publication and through a robust social media presence,” said PJ Staff.   • Blackbaud announced in Aug. that it will stop support for Convio’s Common Ground in May 2014, says the Nonprofit Times. The organization provides fundraising and donor management software solutions for over 400 non-profits. Elizabeth Davis, chief operating officer of The Miracle Foundation, started a petition on to help save the foundation she’s worked with for over 18 months.
